**NEW ITEMS ARE IN RED**

Nice job on our first official ball game performance!  First time we have done the
ENTIRE show for the first game.  Impressive.  Now let the work begin!

Many thanks to all the parents that helped make Friday night as stress free as
possible.

I know there were a couple of parent participation issues on Friday evening.  We are
working to make sure those do not repeat.  Thank you for your patience.  We are
getting the kinks worked out for the 1st game and should be in good shape going
forward.  

Candle Fundraiser forms and money are now past due.  I must have all of the
material by Tuesday morning at the latest.  

Sweatpants and Hoody forms and money are due September 3.  Order forms are in
the band room and on Charms.


Please sign-up to help work the Frito Lay Company Picnic on Saturday, September
18 or the set-up on Friday, September 17.  You can volunteer on Charms or by
e-mailing Mr. Morjal or calling Jim Gault.

Parents, you can sign-up to volunteer for events on charmsoffice.com (or click the
"C" in the toolbar in the top left-hand corner of the page)
UPCOMING BAND SCHEDULE:


Football Game:  Friday, Sept. 3:  Lawrence Co. High

4:00pm:  Load Trailers and Buses
4:45:  Depart for Lawrence Co. High
6:00:  Arrive, unload, and change into uniforms
6:45:  March into stadium
7:00:  Kick-off
~11:35:  Back at LCHS

Welcome to the website for the award-winning Lincoln County High
School Band!    This site will give you  news, schedules, multimedia,
and about anything else you need to know about the LCHS Falcon
Band.  Much of the information on schedules and day to day
operations can be found in the Charms program.  Please follow the
link at the bottom of the navigation bar to get there, and log-in using  
your student password.


Band Booster meetings are always the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  The next meeting is September 21 at
7:00pm in the LCHS band room.  Your child will receive extra credit for your attendance at these meetings, and
it's a great way to earn your points.  Take an interest in your child's activities and musical future.  Attend a
meeting.  Decisions are made by those who show up!
